Meshnet

Meshnet is bundled with every NordVPN subscription at no additional charge. The Meshnet network operates independently of the standard VPN tunnel. A device on the Meshnet does not need to be actively running the standard VPN at the same time; the two features run separately and one does not require the other. That standard is subjective and not further defined: it depends on what Nord or most users would consider offensive without specifying what falls into that category. The second references ethical or moral norms, again without specifying what standards apply or how they are evaluated. The third clause in the same document relates to unauthorized access in certain technical contexts. The NordVPN-specific additional terms are separate from the general account terms and cover a narrower scope. These three caveats are not limited to what is illegal. Those clauses sit alongside the standard prohibitions on illegal conduct and create a broader contractual standard.

Android trial contradiction

On September 3, 2026, NordVPN's homepage displayed two different Android trial durations in separate sections. The conflict leaves that trial length unclear. The active pricing and account pages determine which offer is available at a given time.
