This Privacy Policy explains how TheFapGuide collects, uses, and stores information when you visit the public website. We built the site to be simple: there are no public user accounts, no public profile system, and no requirement to submit personal information just to browse reviews. Our goal is to collect as little personal data as practical while still understanding how the site is used and keeping core functionality working.
When you browse the public site, we may collect limited technical and usage information such as page paths, click events, referrer information, browser or device details, and approximate country information when made available by infrastructure providers. For outbound review-link tracking, we store anonymous click records using hashed IP addresses rather than raw IP addresses. We do not use this public tracking to identify you by name, and we do not intentionally collect directly identifying personal information from ordinary browsing activity.
To measure basic usage and reduce duplicate event abuse, the site may generate a one-way hash from an IP address before saving certain events, including outbound click tracking and review helpfulness voting. This means the stored value is intended to function as an anonymous or pseudonymous identifier rather than a readable IP address. We do not use these hashes to build public user profiles, and we do not tie them to accounts because the public site does not offer accounts.
We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand overall traffic patterns, popular pages, basic engagement signals, and site performance. We configure analytics with privacy in mind, including anonymized or privacy-reduced measurement where available. GA4 may collect information such as approximate location, browser type, device category, pages viewed, session timing, and interaction events. Google may process this data according to its own terms and privacy policies.
The public site may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics purposes. These include GA4-related cookies such as _ga and _gid, which help us understand aggregate usage. We do not provide public user login accounts, so ordinary visitors are not assigned account cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect analytics accuracy.
We use collected data to operate the site, measure traffic, understand which reviews and categories are useful, monitor affiliate click activity in aggregate, improve content quality, protect against spam or abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We may also use limited technical data for troubleshooting, debugging, and site administration.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run a public marketplace for user data, and we do not maintain a public-member database because the site does not support public accounts. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the site, such as hosting, analytics, or infrastructure vendors, but only for business operations consistent with this policy.
We retain analytics and internal event records only for as long as they are reasonably useful for site operations, reporting, fraud prevention, trend analysis, legal compliance, or security review. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and operational needs. Aggregate analytics and click records may be retained for trend comparison.
The public-facing version of TheFapGuide does not require user registration and does not provide user accounts for readers. As a result, we do not maintain public account dashboards, password records, subscription profiles, or other standard consumer-account datasets for regular visitors.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to request access, deletion, correction, or additional information regarding personal data, subject to legal limits and verification requirements. Because our public site is designed to minimize directly identifying data, we may not always be able to associate browsing activity with a specific person. Still, we will review good-faith privacy requests and respond as required by applicable law.
This site is intended only for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and minors must not use the site.
If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the site, you understand that data protection rules may differ across jurisdictions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on the site. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
