JOI Review
👍 Pros
👎 Cons
JOI's standout feature is official AI twins of real adult stars and creators, made with their consent and paying them for every fan they bring.
Alongside those twins sit JOI's own original characters and a full set of companion tools, including chat with memory, images, video and video calls. JOI is run by Lanoto Solutions in New York and was previously known as EVA AI before rebranding in 2025. It runs in the browser.
Official twins of real creators
The creator twins are the heart of JOI. Performers and creators join through a partnership program, supply their own content to train their twin, and earn a share of what their fans spend. Amouranth announced her official twin herself, and the line-up spans well-known adult film stars, MILF favorites and newer creators, each labeled as an Official AI Twin.
That licensing matters for the experience as much as the ethics. A twin is built from material the creator chose to share, carries their personality and style, and exists because they agreed to it. For fans, it's a way to get a more personal, responsive version of someone they already follow.
Original characters and creative tools
If you'd rather meet someone new, JOI's original characters cover a wide spread of personalities and styles, and the character builder lets you design a companion in a realistic or anime style. Chat comes with memory, and companions can send photos and videos or join a video call where available.
What it costs
JOI's pricing comes in layers. A Premium subscription, billed monthly, quarterly, every six months or yearly, unlocks the core experience, but explicit messages, photos and video cost extra in Neurons, the site's credits. Individual creator twins can also require their own subscription, which only works while Premium is active. Prices are shown after sign-up rather than on a public page, so check the total before committing.
Plans renew automatically and are cancelled in your account; cancelling Premium doesn't automatically cancel creator subscriptions, so cancel those separately. Refunds are limited to unspent Neurons requested within 14 days, with no refunds for past subscription periods. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto are accepted in many regions, and charges appear as joi.com.
Rules and safety
JOI requires users to be 18 or older and has a zero-tolerance policy for anyone who appears to be under 18. Its creator terms require consent from every real person depicted, and its policies ban sexual content of real people without their consent.
Our rating
4.0 out of 5.
JOI earns its score with something genuinely distinctive: licensed AI twins of real adult stars and creators who agreed to take part and get paid for it, backed by a complete set of chat, image, video and call features. The deductions come from the pricing: explicit content costs credits on top of Premium, creator twins can add another subscription, prices aren't public, and refunds are narrow. For fans who want an official AI version of a star they already love, it's the place to go.
